When it comes to winning prestigious awards, there’s no such thing as too much. Forter was enormously honored to receive both the Gold for Most Invisible Innovation and the Silver for Best Newcomer in the PYMNTS Innovator Awards 2015.
We’ve talked before about why Invisibility, as well as being a tempting superpower, is so key to what makes Forter special, and so important to the way that our fraud prevention solution also powers incremental growth. It was incredibly gratifying to see that experts in the payments field appreciate that aspect of our product, too. And, of course, being chosen in the Best Newcomer category was a wonderful endorsement of the all-round utility and disruptive potential of Forter’s system.
Attending the Innovation Project was a valuable experience in itself. The Harvard campus made the perfect setting for the high-level discussions about just about all the issues people are talking about in the payments world today. Global leaders in the field, from Warren Buffet to Al Gore to Larry Summers and many, many more came together to share their experiences and insights. As you may imagine, the result was a series of encounters and panels which brought together different perspectives for fruitful, fascinating debates.
The combination of the growth of e-commerce and, this year especially, mobile commerce, with an increased emphasis on an omnichannel experience for the customer means that it is crucial for payments systems and everything associated with them to meet consumer expectations in providing a smooth, secure and speedy transaction journey.
The theme of the conference (it is called the ‘Innovation’ Project, after all) meant that panelists were particularly willing to consider fresh new solutions to the challenges that were discussed. Forter is proud to be part of the solution – contributing to creating fraud-free e-commerce.
