Global Tradeshow and Events Coordinator

Forter is seeking a Global Tradeshow and Events Coordinator to join our Marketing team and help us produce a regular cadence of high-quality events, varying from large-scale tradeshows to intimate roundtable dinners. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Events Manager will work with a range of partners, including our own senior team, clients, and external parties. Themes and forums for events will vary, requiring comfort and curiosity across multiple settings. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to flex his/her extensive event production and customer service skills, while developing a deeper understanding of marketing KPIs that drive business growth.

This role requires an enthusiastic professional with a passion for event management and a meticulous attention to deadlines and details. The ability to build good relationships with both internal employees and external vendors is critical.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Execute a yearly global tradeshow calendar
  • Manage marketing team’s digital campaign and event calendar, documenting submissions, invitations, and budgets
  • Turn event ideas into reality, responding to requests from Forter’s management, clients, and outside parties
  • Build execution plans, coordinating between parties and vendors to ensure flawless production
  • Generate reports and marketing dashboards to monitor and analyze tradeshows/events
  • Lead planning meetings with a diverse team of stakeholders
  • Collaborate with members of the Marketing team to generate new ideas to scale and improve event quality and deliverability
  • Follow-up with sales team to ensure that leads are returned, processed, and distributed in timely manner


  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing and/or event planning
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, budgeting, and time management skills
  • Adept at handling multiple complex projects simultaneously under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive self-starter that is creative and flexible with a can-do attitude
  • Strong team player with ability to develop effective working relationships across a global team
  • Experience with design software and Salesforce or HubSpot a plus
