Head over to the Javits Center in New York City this week and you’ll find yourself at one of the industry’s largest and most important conferences, NRF 2020. This year’s event brings together leading retailers, innovators and visionaries to discuss how the world of commerce will evolve in 2020 and beyond.  As the industry leader in e-commerce fraud prevention, Forter is showcasing its cutting-edge technology, with an exciting new solution to reveal this year.

In a conference focused towards the future of retail, it’s only fitting that Forter present its solution to an issue that’s on course to be one of the largest fraud challenges in 2020: loyalty program fraud. Forter’s Seventh Edition Fraud Attack Index reported an 89% increase in fraud attacks against loyalty programs over the last year alone, with an estimated $1 billion in fraudulently redeemed rewards each year.

Loyalty programs are highly valuable assets for merchants. In fact, 22 percent of consumers shop exclusively with brands of whose loyalty programs they’re members. However, 72 percent of loyalty programs have reported issues with fraud. Breached or hacked accounts can put a company’s most loyal customers at risk, diminishing customer lifetime value (LTV) and destroying brand reputation, thus making loyalty programs an extremely risky offering for many retailers. Forter will demo its new Loyalty Program Protection Solution, showing businesses how to protect their most valuable consumers and expand their loyalty offerings without the fear of fraud.

Stop by booth 1336 to see a live demo of the solution, test your knowledge of loyalty program fraud and see if your business is prepared to stop 2020’s most sophisticated fraudsters.
