To celebrate Forter’s 10th birthday, we’re spotlighting Forterians who are making significant impacts in their respective regions. Meet Osnat Karkashon, Regional Sr. Manager, Delivery Enablement.
Give us a little background about yourself – where are you located, and what do you like to do in your free time?
I’m located in Israel. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors with my family — hiking, swimming or just enjoying time away from the city. I also love to anything to do with arts and crafts, and if I get to read a book and learn something new at least once a week, I feel like I’m on the right track.
What is one fun fact that people might not know about you?
I practice “focusing,” which is a psychotherapeutic process (that I highly recommend). I also have lived in Asia for 11 years (Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and China), and was tasked with opening the third Israeli Consulate in Guangzhou, China.
What does your role and journey look like at Forter?
Over the years, I’ve held several roles and I never cease to deepen my learning as Forter keeps advancing and bringing on new and exciting products and projects. Recently I’ve shifted to an enablement position, and I have the privilege of leading enablement to the Delivery teams (CS, Customer Support and Implementations). My role is making sure that the time they spend training and learning is meaningful and suitable.
What is your favorite memory from your time at Forter?
First of all, the people! Over the years, Forter has become a community of good, talented people, and I feel at home. Coming to the office anywhere in the world is always a wonderful experience. My favorite memories are Forter Week and Forter Hackathons. Taking a break from everyday work and getting to meet the global teams, and spending quality time together, is always refreshing.
How do you feel Forter has evolved since your joining in 2019?
Forter has grown a lot. When I joined, we were a few people in an office above a gas station. Now we have offices globally, and seeing the diversity is moving to me! With Forter, it’s all about the people, and we tend to have the best.
