To celebrate Forter’s 10th birthday, we’re spotlighting Forterians who are making significant impacts in their respective regions. Our first spotlight is on Allen Zhu, Regional Director, Enterprise Sales, China.
Give us a little background about yourself – where are you located, and what do you like to do in your free time?
I am Allen Zhu, from Shanghai, China. I like nature and travel, and I have traveled to more than 30 countries. I am also a big fan of the Premier League, supporting Arsenal for over 25 years. I have a seven year old son, and I also like trekking with him in the jungle.
What does your role and journey look like at Forter?
I am a Regional Director for China. I joined Forter in 2019 as an AE and have continued growing with the China office. When we stay together, we learn and help each other. We are excited to continue building up an excellent workplace in Shanghai.
What is your favorite memory from your time at Forter?
In September 2022, I joined my first President’s Club with Forter and got to experience a very beautiful hotel in Athens. I consider this a great honor. It was a really exciting experience to meet other Forterians in person following the pandemic. Forter recognizes talents, respects differences and reacts quickly. All of the teams are so supportive of each other when there are great wins.
How do you feel Forter has evolved since your joining in 2019?
Forter has grown quite a bit. Everything has changed — from product performance to internal processes and company culture. But it’s all in a good way.
